Maybe there is something wrong with Brandon. -- Kyle Breyer, Brightburn
Brightburn is one of the most anticipated movies set to hit this summer. Let's face it, superhero movies are big right now. So the idea of taking one of the most iconic heroes of all time and spinning his origin story on its head is very intriguing. Brightburn gives us the ultimate anti-hero, merging super and horror for an all new nightmare.

While it is an intriguing concept, the execution of it could have been handled better. Many people, along with myself, had high hopes for Brightburn. For the most part it held up to them, but didn’t manage to meet them all. The story was fun, as were the scenes where he was discovering his powers, but by the time the end credits rolled, the movie left me wanting more.
